Works. but not very reliable. 67 out of 30 didn't work. Customer service partially appreciated my purchase but expected a quality product.

Using the standard T-568B (or T-568A) wiring/pinout, the baluns work fine. They might even give you a better picture than Siamese mini coaxes, but it's hard to tell with these old cameras. The best part is that CAT-5 requires much smaller openings to pull the cable through.

They were terrible the best rating I can give is they arrived quickly and were on time. After that, I couldn't get her back fast enough. All 10 didn't work. What are the odds that 10 out of 10 sucks? Is it like going to liberal arts college and thinking that art education will make American corporations money? Note all the flare and the lack of real talent.

Baluns work very well but they are VERY large. If you are using them in a CCTV system you should be aware that they can be difficult to hide or fit into standard sized cable boxes. One out of 10 pairs is defective. I was able to request a replacement from Revain but they sent me another box of 10. Overall this is a good product but they could have been made in a smaller form factor.

I think most people with problems are not using them as intended. We have no crashes after installation. We had several open boxes (plastic boxes). We usually throw them away (although they can be glued back together). They're cheap as they get. Works great and again zero failures. People say they don't work: check connections and cable type. Don't use CCA, use solid copper. Use category 5e and we run up to 110-120ft.
