HeadBlade HeadShed Exfoliating Scrub for Optimal Scalp Care Review

I haven't even tried this product but I was so pissed that I opened the package and found the bottle almost flat, NOT ROUND. The picture is deceptive because the bottle of shaving cream I have is round and has 3 ounces more product. It never occurs to consumers who don't compare products side-by-side. Show a side view of the HeadBlade or you will be accused of misrepresenting your product.

The product in the bottle is very beautiful. I love it. But the bottle it comes in is terrible. It's 5 ounces, which is just an uncomfortable size. I would prefer it to be 3 ounces so I can travel with it, or closer to 8 ounces for home use. Secondly, the nozzle is difficult to open when showering. Third, the spout has a slight indentation when closed, leaving some product on the cap that either sticks and clogs or simply needs cleaning every time the bottle is closed. I don't feel the need to review everything I use but this product deserves an exception. I first bought it a few years ago and it is way better than other alternatives. My wife has several other scrubs that I have tried (usually when I run out of them) and nothing else compares to them. The smell is pleasant, but that doesn't bother me. Some razors can shave on a daily basis, others need to give the scalp a rest, I'm the type who needs to rest the scalp with a cycle off the blade about 3-4 days. With this product, too, shaving more often leads to some unpleasant side effects, which I prefer to avoid. I'm trying to find out what happened to my favorite scrub. The last few batches I've ordered weren't a thick scrub like they used to be. Now it's very watery and it seems the ingredients have changed. Less effective than what has been sold in recent years as if it were a cheaper product now. The composition has definitely changed. What gives?

Item works. The scrub has a finer texture than others and my scalp feels good after using it. The container is really bad. The mix turns to concrete in the nozzle - I literally never use the extrusion nozzle. I land every time I take a shower, unscrew the cap, and slap the tube in my palm like a glass ketchup bottle. The product is normal, but the packaging is not the same.

I use it once a week while I shave my head. It makes my scalp smooth and I've noticed fewer blemishes on my scalp. The smell is rather faint, but not a bad aroma, a little chocolatey. It's very thick and hard to get out of the bottle, but it helps warm up a bit in the shower. Overall I really like this product and will continue to use it.
