Some razors can shave on a daily basis, others need to give the scalp a rest, I'm the type who needs to rest the scalp with a cycle off the blade about 3-4 days. With this product, too, shaving more often leads to some unpleasant side effects, which I prefer to avoid. However, if you use it every 3rd or 4th day the bumps and flakes I used to struggle with were completely eliminated as you can imagine after 3-4 days you have a whole lot of stubble that need to be shaved off, and this lotion not only alleviates the above problems, it also softens the stubble, making my shave smoother and more precise. I use it with Headblade's shaving cream and have received compliments on how clean and healthy my scalp is since using it regularly. Flakes around my mouth and on the bridge of my nose, here I use it every other day to exfoliate the skin in those areas and it works wonders for those areas of my skin by keeping it clear and flake free. Despite all the good things that can be said about it, it's a bit pricey, what I did was add some water to the solution to make it last a little longer. It's not that much, I'd say around 20-30%, but it makes the product more affordable and I keep buying it when it's gone.
