KZ AS10 Five Balanced Armature Extra Bass Universal-Fit Earphones In-Ear Headphones (Cyan, No Mic) Review

I've bought at least a dozen other generic in-ear headphones ranging from $20 to $500 and these are my favorite monitors for sound quality, comfort and Value.

Wonderful sound. Amazing price. I feel uncomfortable wearing them for a long time. I put them in my ears to drown out ambient noise (drums) and the wider nozzle (regardless of the tips) irritates my ear canal, requiring me to put breaks in my ears to endure a two-hour set.

As a drummer I need headphones with very good isolation that work surprisingly well as earplugs. If you are a musician, especially if you perform, buy them. Just do it. The sound is just wonderful. Excellent balance and clarity across the audio spectrum. A minor downside, in my opinion, is that it has one armature for all 5 speakers, so the bass speaker doesn't have the power potential of a dynamic driver, but still has great bass. Ridiculously cheap for what you get.

I don't know what to say. Just buy them, you won't regret it. This is my daily IEM driver for the worship band and my personal rock band. I'm a bass player and I don't even need to EQ them a bit. They are very balanced. They are at least 30 times better than my old Shure 315se which I paid almost 3 times more for. I actually bought the KZ ZS10 first and after hearing them (btw my old Shure blew up too) I decided to try the as10. And to my surprise, they are more comfortable and fit the ears…

I paid $1000 for custom headphones (stolen with my backpack abroad) and I can't say they're any better, but they definitely perform on the other hand, big names like Shure and FutureSonics. at the price you can't go wrong. Good sound isolation with factory plugs, remember to plug them in to get that deep bass. Play a bass song and continue to gently rotate/adjust them deeper in your ears until you get the correct fit, then bend the memory wire around your ears to secure it. A look in the mirror

This is my 4th set of KZ headphones. I had an FTA, then KZ5, KS10, now AC10. Every step was a noticeable improvement in sound. New to the AS10n is the 5-arm design per ear. The KS10 had 4 anchors and 1 dynamic woofer per ear. As soon as you open the box, you'll notice that they're slightly smaller than the KS10, which is probably because the armature takes up less space than a dynamic driver.
