For the money they are excellent

I've probably had better sounding headsets but they are good for what I use them for. My husband can't hear me in bed if my desk is next to the bed. So they are perfect for me.

This is a great standard for gaming headphones that offer good, smooth sound without the overwhelming bass that some other headsets have. I bought three different Revain headsets last year and these are my favorites. They are best suited for online gaming as the bass is not too loud. Other headsets tend to be too loud so your teammates/friends damage your ears so much that you have to adjust the volume and frankly it's just not fun. Nice headphones and well made.

The volume control doesn't really increase the volume. I wear hearing aids and turn them on to the max, then turn on the headphones and hear almost no sound. Very weak.
