👩 Cosmetology Training with Headstar Mannequin Hairdresser Review

I ordered a mannequin head based on the picture that looked like an ethnic mannequin with textured hair, but I received a Caucasian mannequin with silky smooth straight hair. The mannequin itself was very pretty, the hair was beautiful and thick, but it didn't have the texture I wanted.

Beautiful mannequin. It's really hard to find a really good one, isn't it? She was recommended by artist Hanzo Hatori, who is hosting the Zoom class. I loved the thickness and texture of the hair and the way it was styled. She totally pissed off one of my dogs. Every time I pulled it out. I used it to practice braiding a few times before class. Not all mannequins are suitable for this. By the way, she also liked all her haircuts.

My mother bought my oldest daughter a mannequin head as a Christmas present for her to practice box weaving. She was very happy about the gift. However, I could tell that she was upset when she started having trouble braiding her hair. The reason is that the hair is not 100% human hair but is a synthetic blend. Overall I like the product. However, to say that hair is real hair is false advertising.

This product is not terrible and I was able to use it as intended. The lower part of the hair is very short, so certain hairstyles can be made out of her hair. The quality of the hair is generally good, it's thick, but I was disappointed with the length. I was expecting 20-22 inches as described and maybe 15-16 inches from the crown to the end of the longest section of hair. Hair is only 14-16 inches long, not 20-22 inches as advertised. I ordered 2, one perfectly colored the second, today I opened the other one and found bald spots on her head and when I combed her her hair fell out in clumps. Very disappointed

Her head is quite small, not as big as an average person's, so it's a bit strange, but it doesn't seem to bother our daughter at all. The hair has been tested several hours a day since receipt! It doesn't shed, holds up well on curling irons and flat irons, and comes well packaged and tangle free, making it easy to comb out of the box. Her hair is so smooth and silky. This product is NOT as advertised! I bought this doll to practice bleaching and styling. After bleaching, I could already tell that it was probably synthetic hair, because there were strands between the bleached areas where the dark strand of hair was not lightened at all. When I started straightening and/or curling after washing, I could smell burning hair and even see burnt black bits as if burning the end of the rope on both the doll and my straightener.
