I really liked these ice packs. I would pack the kids lunch at 7am and they would still be cold at 4pm if I added that it was in a properly insulated lunch bag. They also freeze very quickly. So if I forget to put them in the freezer the night before, I can put them in in the morning and they'll freeze before we leave. Unfortunately, after a little over a year, some of that slimy gel started leaking.

We have been collecting lunch for school since the first year, our oldest daughter goes to kindergarten. Your lunch box is smaller, so we need ice packs that don't take up too much space and are perfect. Love fun colors, my daughter loves choosing which color she wants every day. On the days I pick my daughter up from daycare after work, I often don't unpack her lunch until 8 p.m. and the ice packs are still cold. Impressive!

I bought this product to keep my expressed breast milk cool throughout the workday. These packages in no way meet or exceed my expectations. They are taken out of the freezer at around 8am and kept in the fridge until around 3pm. I put milk bags between two bags to keep it as cool as possible. The ice packs are usually warmed up when I get home (3:30pm to 4:00pm). I love them for their slim size, the way they fit in my cool lunch bag and the bright beautiful colours! They freeze quickly and I use them in my lunch bag in multiple layers throughout the day. They are lightweight, easy to wash up and freeze the next day. They last even longer if I add a bottle of cold water to my lunch. I read many other reviews about this product before purchasing and I have to say these ice packs stay cold until the child's lunch break. They're the perfect size to fit in a lunch box to keep you cool without taking up all the space. I packed lunch around 7:30, lunch was at 11 and everything was still chilly. I bought these for kids lunch boxes and they work great. Having a hard ice pack versus a soft one is actually nice for preserving structure in the lunch box. We can fit two ice packs top to bottom in my 31 year old kids' lunch boxes because what 31st mom wouldn't want her kids to use the products she sells ;) There have been many times my kids have come, themselves if they just used a bag, they came home from school with the bag still cold, several times even very cold.
