It fits, looks good and is durable.

So far, so good. I couldn't find replacement parts for the broken ones on my Costco leather high back office chair until I found this leg base. The seller didn't sell me replacement parts after the warranty expired because I didn't get a proof of purchase as a gift. Now I've found this wheelbase and it looks solid. The plastic parts that came with my chair have broken three times so I'm very happy to buy something really high quality. I recommend using the 2" 8T8 wheels I have as they prevent…

Got upgraded roller wheels and a plastic base?

Then you need this base. Like pretty much everyone here, I bought "upgraded" roller-skate style wheels for my office chair. I was moving to a new location and didn't want the standard casters to damage the floor. But the plastic base of my braced chair soon began to flex and twist until I started to move and landed on the floor. One of the post holes burst, the wheel fell out and I fell. Long lasting - lasts 4 months.

In July 2018, I replaced the casters on my home office chair with skateboard wheels. They rolled smoothly and quietly and I was happy with them. What I didn't realize at the time was that because the wheels are larger than the original wheels, they put extra stress on the chair's seats, which the castor axles are inserted into. (The larger diameter of the wheels changes the angle between the shaft and the point of contact with the ground. Hence more leverage.) One day one of the wheels broke…
