I love it. It was beautiful, heavy and ironed.

Bought this iron for paper sewing and quilting. I love it. It was nice and heavy and ironed my seams perfectly. Bought March 2017. It's July 2018 and the thing is dead. Just over a year of normal use. My mom had one (don't know the brand) that lasted 30 years. It's just sad.

Inaccurate detailed product description.

This item has arrived and was incorrect in the detailed item description. It states that it does NOT have an auto-off feature when in fact it does have an auto-off feature. The iron will cool down if left in the upright position and when it returns to iron again it will need to be reset and reheated to start ironing again. Also, the settings do NOT get as hot as old vintage irons. I am returning this iron for a refund. This is NOT what is described.

Strong iron but not hot enough for basic work

This is a fairly strong iron (it feels strong and heavy, but not too heavy). The biggest problem with this is that it just doesn't heat enough. This is a very weak iron in terms of heating. There are a few other irritations: It's narrow and small compared to other dry irons on the market; The edge of the ironing plate has a sharp angle so when ironing it pushes into the fabric causing a strange "drag effect" as if it is catching on the fabric while ironing. It doesn't slide well. It's a lousy…

NOT GOOD FOR HTV. No higher than 130 degrees!

Being in a bind I wanted to use this iron as an HTV press filler until I got my heat press in the mail. Unfortunately, according to my infrared thermometer, it doesn't get over 130 degrees even at the highest level! I pulled out my mom's old steam iron and it heats up to at least 375 so I know the thermometer isn't the problem. Too bad I can't just turn off the herd because I really need to finish these projects. I hope none of these other reviewers are selling the items they make with it, even
