The quality seemed very good. Packaged in a beautiful box for protection and safe keeping. The strip around the center looks great from afar but certainly not as good up close but to be expected for a great price. For the ratio of quality and looks I would say that this is a good investment. Perfect for a costume or a quick transition to a formal or semi-formal event.

Weak neckband. The neck band is just a thin piece of thin 3/8" wide ribbon with a very thin clasp. That aspect doesn't seem to have been thought of. The rest of the tie looks good.

Good? General view of the tie. Poorly? Almost everything else. The quality is cheap and it really shows with the thin strap and flimsy clasp that barely keeps it in place. One wrong move and everything falls apart. The jewel is attached to the front with double-sided tape. A little tug and it pops off immediately, which is what happened with mine. I really wanted to like this article but unfortunately it just didn't deserve more than two stars.
