These don't smell like lemongrass! It smells like burnt plastic or some other toxic odor around! I tried 3 sticks to make sure I didn't get a bad one and they all smelled the same. DO NOT BUY THESE!

The box says 'lemongrass' and the box even smells like 'lemongrass' but when I actually light the incense sticks they smell like burnt plastic. I asked two other people to smell it to make sure I wasn't crazy and they both said the same thing - it smells like burnt plastic. Maybe I got a bad batch, who knows?

When I first took the lemongrass incense stick out of the box, I was struck by the lemon smell, but after it burned, it no longer smelled like lemon, it unless you're absolutely sticking your nose around, you shouldn't be doing that. There was a general smell of burnt plastic/wood. I also seemed to get a headache after burning it. I strongly recommend not buying this.

Love it! I'm the kind of person who loves that constant "just brushed" smell and that's exactly what I got with them. It's like I just poured lemon pine grout into my house. I was skeptical about buying incense sticks from HEM (the other scent I bought from them was disgusting) but they redeemed themselves with it. I will forgive you, HEM. I'll be back. Living in Louisiana, mosquitoes are a daily problem on the streets anytime. I lit lemongrass and lavender sticks on the patio because I read they help repel insects. I really like the smell of both, but about 1 stick out of 5 doesn't burn well and I have to keep lighting them.
