Herb Salt Bowl White Marble Review

This bowl is very cute and looks exactly as described/pictured. Like many other reviewers, I was a bit surprised at how small the bowl is. It definitely won't hold more than 1/8 cup. I wanted to use it as a feeding bowl for my pet rabbit, but it's still too small for that. I love the look of the white marble, there's soft padding on the bottom that keeps it on a smooth surface, and overall it's a cute little bowl. The bowl is very heavy and the size and shape is just right for sea salt. I like white better than black. UPDATE September 3, 2015: Well I use a much larger sea salt container now - a round bamboo box with a lid that opens. (I love the fact that my salt stash is protected by a lid as I usually keep the box right next to the stove.) This is a beautifully made bowl. I originally received a 4 ounce marble bowl from Target to be used for dipping sauces. I used it as a feeding bowl for my cat but ended up falling off the table and breaking it. I ordered this as a replacement not realizing it was only about 1 ounce and not 4 ounces. There was also a black foam pad with a sticker on the bottom. I ended up just wiping it with my thumb so it was in its natural state. I keep it because it's cute and you can use it for other things…
