Bought this for a Samsung 8 inch tablet in a stylish case - it fits but is snug. The outer fabric feels comfortable. Super soft material inside. And it feels like it has a neoprene inner layer for added protection. This is a soft-walled case, meaning it won't protect your device from flexing. There is an outside pocket that might hold headphones and a cleaning cloth. The bag isn't designed to bulge, so whatever you put in it can't be very bulky. I was looking for a case for my Surface Pro. I wanted pens, but not bulky. Also wanted something with 2 small pockets, not 1 big one. This case has everything I was looking for. The handles aren't the strongest, but I don't plan on carrying them by the handles for long. It's thin enough to fit in a large bag. And teal is a very attractive color and design. The pockets are big enough for a charger, pen, USB hub and more. to solve some. Other reviewers' concerns: I didn't detect any smell at all.

We measured my daughter's Chromebook and bought this one (planned to add more colors so she can swap them out). When you first opened it, it stank to high heaven of chemicals, and then it didn't fit.
