As a hesitant buyer, I purchased this product for my industrial and scientific needs. As a result of my tests, I determined that the quality was lacking and did not meet my expectations. The swivel opening did not function smoothly and caused disruption in my work process. The only positive aspect was the easy installation. Overall, I would not recommend this product for those in need of reliable workholding tools.

Not so quick with a five star rating! I'm not sure if any of the previous reviewers have ever worked with a good heavy duty vise. I bought this because I needed a smaller angle adjustable vise with high reviews. I give it three stars because it's just a poor quality vise. If you've ever used one of the original Bridgeport devices, having it factory installed says it all! Luckily I'll be working on small aluminum parts that don't require heavy cutting. On arrival I put it on my grinder for evaluation. Not good. One might think that with a 90 degree notch, parallel to the table, one could zero. no I had to grind/expand the screw holes in the base. In addition, the top surface of the fixed jaw was 0.002 inches higher at one end than the other. Sand the surfaces and oil everything (it came dry). When I reassembled it I noticed that the center pin in the base that the vise rotates around may actually have fallen off and didn't go into the hole in
