Failed to live up to expectations

This product was a BIG let down .Despite being marketed specifically for "industrial and scientific" use it failed to deliver effective results. The only positive was that it looked sturdy. However, the negative aspects far outweighed that one pro. It was difficult to use and didn't perform as needed, making it a waste of money..

Pros
  • Accurately divides workpieces for precision machining.
Cons
  • Requires a strong understanding of rotary dividing techniques to be used effectively.

I bought this turntable for a 4" turntable to get more out of the table but am very disappointed with the poor quality and the design of this spacer plate set. First, there are no instructions on how to assemble or how to use it. They included a half-sheet table of turns/hole counts for the various pitches of the circle, but that only gives the bare minimum of information. After figuring out how to assemble it (using instructions from an external website), the round spring component fits so…

Pros
  • You can divide the circle into the following number of parts 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30, 36, 40, 45, 48, 60, 72 , 80, 90, 120, 144, 180, 240, 360, 720
Cons
  • Big and chunky
