Description of HIC Harold Co 3038 Stainless

HIC Kitchen’s House-shaped Tea Infuser steeps a fresh, more distinct, flavorful cup of loose leaf tea with the same ease and convenience of tea bags. Made from 18/8 stainless steel; compact for easy storage; measures 2. 25 x 2. 25 x 1. 5-inches. Side latch makes filling and emptying easy; reusable and more economical than using store-bought or disposable tea bags. Simply fill halfway with tea, place in the cup, pour in hot water, steep 3-minutes or until desired strength is achieved. Great for mulling spices, too; rinse clean or dishwasher safe for easy cleanup.

Not worth the investment

My analysis of this product showed that it doesnt live up to its claims. While it looks aesthetically nice, it falls short in terms of both functionality and durability. The pros: the stainless steel material is easy to clean... The cons: the handle is flimsy and the tea/coffee is prone to spilling when pouring. Overall, i would not recommend this product for daily use..

Pros
  • High-quality stainless steel construction for durability and longevity
Cons
  • Slightly heavier than other tongs, which may tire out hands during prolonged use

Works well, amazing

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and feels very high quality, very durable. I only deducted one star because some pieces of the tea leaf get into the tea through the holes in the hinges when brewing. This makes sense as these hinge holes need to be large enough for the lid to open without bending the steel or damaging the screen, but it's still surprising that the holes let some leaf fragments through. Not a big deal, but be aware that leaf fragments will end up in the tea. So far very…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
