Hickey-Freeman has an amazing story that hasn't always been well maintained but oh my god if that's the quality they're putting out now it looks really good! Superb mid-weight to heavyweight cashmere perfect for mid-Atlantic and New England winters. Both the fabric and the workmanship appear to be flawless. The fit is superb, as is the feel - the leather is as soft as you'd like without the slightest feeling of fragility. What can I say? In love with a very very very well made damn hat!
