Identical to the stock ballast on the 2008 Prius

No need to cut the wires - it's a very firm grip but you can push the connector in at one point. (It took me about two hours to find this place.) It's on a Toyota. Works great, looked perfect. I'm happy.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Slightly different

Twice cheaper than original parts.

The price is great. Delivery was great. The fit was precise and indistinguishable from the OEM product. You REALLY need to be sure what type of lighting system you have as the ballasts, igniters and most importantly the bulb must match your Prius lighting system.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Fits 2007 Toyota Prius Touring

This worked for my 2007 Toyota Prius Touring. To do this, the entire housing was completely removed, the headlight socket was separated from the HID housing and reconnected after installation. Not exactly plug and play, but it gets the job done. You can find some good videos on You Tube for instructions.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • I will add later

Part Failed Not Interchangeable With OEM Part

I took word from this company that their ballast is interchangeable with the OEM part. Otherwise it burned down and broke my lightbulb. I ordered from another company at a lower price and everything worked perfectly. The description of this company's product and the claim that it is interchangeable with an OEM part is not true. I will never order from this company again, nor would I advise anyone to do so.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Appearance

Perfect replacement for Gen 2. 2008 Prius HID

Thought something was wrong with the Prius 08 with HID lighting. When I took it apart it was easy to see water seeping into the headlight assembly and damaging the ballast. Used to replace Toyota part number 85967-24010. Although it had a different part number, the specs were the same. You can gently pry the silver end where the bulb attaches to allow it to fit through the headlight assembly. You can reuse the ignition wire that is on the Toyota lamp cover. It sticks directly to the gravel.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • So-so

Worked after installation after 2.5 years.

I bought this on December 31, 2018. I never installed it because I didn't know how to replace my old ballast on my 2007 Lexus IS350. That's why I haven't checked my car in 2 years lol. Well after watching some YouTube videos I installed it in 4 hours. The hardest part was getting the bulb socket through the headlight because it fits snugly. I had to disassemble the lamp holder and thread the wire with a coupler. Then mount the socket. Works after installation. Schemes are filled in, unlike OEM.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Band
