I love the feel of this turtleneck sweater. It's not so thin that the neck sags (like some of my other turtlenecks). It's just snug enough, doesn't suffocate me! On business trips, I like to take a black turtleneck sweater, black trousers or a skirt with me, plus a couple of light-colored jackets or sweaters. That relieves my travel bag enormously.

This turtleneck is a tighter knit than other turtlenecks I've bought at Target and Walmart so it feels a little stiffer and a little larger to wear under sweaters. But I wear it under a sweater and it's warm! Another great thing about this top is that the neck doesn't stretch as much as my others. The fabric is much better quality than the typical layered turtleneck and washes well. I hang it up to dry and fluff it up in the air dryer to soften it.

I liked the other reviews! I wanted a fairly heavy, soft cotton top with long sleeves that would be more dressy to wear in winter. Someone said the sleeves weren't typically tight - just cute, I agree. If I could change one thing it would be to make the neck a little smaller. Yes, you can fold it; it's not too bulky, but it increases tightness. It's not tight, but it's not loose either. Overall I would buy it again as soft cotton and a good fit are hard to find. Incredibly comfortable turtleneck sweater, even softer and thicker than some popular brands. It's so hard to find things made out of cotton these days! A sufficient amount of Lycra makes the shirt elastic and cozy. The neckline is double layered, so it doesn't sag, but can be folded neatly if desired. I ordered a size up so it isn't too tight and a size up was perfect so they aren't too tight under the armpits. I bought 3 of these and will be buying another one so they will be my favorite shirt

This t-shirt is comparable to the Lands End t-shirts of 20 years ago. The collar hugs the neck and stays high, like an "old school" turtleneck rather than a mannequin, slouchy hood, or modern tee.
