Works well - highly recommend

I did some research before buying. There are several different filters that fit my BMW. I love that this one has a thick outer shell and a nut welded on top. Buying from this supplier is probably the best deal you will find. And in doing so, you get the filter with the highest rating.

Fits BMW i3 REX engine

As this item is interchangeable with Mahle OC619 I bought it for my i3 backup gas generator. It's a bit taller than the original Mahle OC306, but I need more filter area for long-distance rides over 150 miles. It's a little tight, but it fits well and doesn't rub or bulge out of the profile. So far no complaints.

Yes, this is an oil filter - at a good price.

To be honest you don't like an oil filter so 5 stars won't do. I drive, change oil and this product is great for that purpose. The R1200RT LC will cover a lot of miles in a season of riding and being able to get a few extra filters at a good price is a plus.
