I love this bag but maybe I noticed something when opening the main compartment, there is another divider/extra compartment with reverse zip and no handle. So to open it you have to click on the inverted zipper. Maybe this is a factory wedding.

This strap on this backpack actually zips up and stays on my hips so the weight is evenly distributed as it should be rather than pressing against my shoulders. I would have liked it better if I could put the bedroll on the top instead of the bottom, other than that it's perfect. Good travel size to take with you on the plane.

Small bag if you want something compact. It's not very roomy, as the hard back panel limits the amount you can cram in. The stiffness also makes it harder to tuck under an airplane seat compared to a padded back. The materials appear to be solid, but that makes the weight-to-size ratio a bit heavy. I really like the waist belt as it was the main reason I bought this backpack. I carry a camera clip on my shoulder straps and this backpack works well with minimal wobble.

This is the second High Sierra backpack I own. I like them both very much. I've tried several cheaper Revain packs but the materials weren't as high quality as in this pack. I love the thought and engineering that went into this package. The pads are very comfortable and are the same as my 2 year old High Sierra backpack. For 2 years the filling has not faded.
