Description of πŸ’ͺ Enhanced Performance: HiLetgo BTS7960 Driver Arduino Current - A Perfect Choice for Efficient Motor Control

5V isolate with MCU, and effectively protect MCU; 5V power indicator on board. Voltage indication of motor driver output end; can solder heat sink. Just need four lines from MCU to driver module (GND. 5V. PWM1. PWM2); isolation chip 5 V power supply (can share with MCU 5 V). Able to reverse the motor forward, two PWM input frequency up to 25kHZ; two heat flow passing through an error signal output. Isolated chip 5V power supply (can be shared with the MCU 5V), can also use the on-board 5V supply; the supply voltage 5.5V to 27V.

Doesn't even get hot when running a 4 amp linear actuator

Failed to load media. I used to build my own H-bridge motor controller but the best I could do was 2A and it got very hot. When I saw this device for $13 plus shipping I thought I'd save the headache and buy this 15AH bridge. I'm running this H-bridge from a Raspberry Pi2 with no problem. For some reason there has been a lot of controversy, or rather confusion, as to whether the RPi can do this. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I had to remove the heatsink and add my own…

Pros
  • Controls and indicators disappear

If you read the reviews; You already know that devices have bent pins and overheating issues. However, this review addresses the root causes of fundamental design and manufacturing defects. The header pins will be bent as all blocks are placed directly into an anti-static bag without protection; 80/20 chance of getting a damaged contact pin. More serious are design and manufacturing issues that render the device inoperable and limit its claimed performance. The design uses the BTS7960 chip, a…

BTN7960B Motor Driver

This is a very affordable and economical solution for PWM control of large DC motors. I did a lot of research and found that Infineon's single bridge ICs are the best sport dual FETs and drivers in one IC package! They have newer IC models that support up to 70A peak and up to 50A continuous, but nobody has mass-produced a cheap module like this. If you search for the Infineon IC model BTS7960B (actually BTN7960), this IBT-2 motor driver will show up everywhere. I would like to see…
