Good buy of receivers and amplifiers

I used it near my pool, have an old video projector which takes a great picture but the sound was weak. This unit does not come with a 12v adapter but I had an extra one at home. Works well, we plugged in stereo speakers and watched movies while swimming on warm Vegas evenings. It's pretty cute. Excellent price.

Pros
  • Useful for more than it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Only available in white

Little or no quality control

No marking, no documentation Solder bumps on the underside of the cold solder board along with numerous solder balls and raw flux on the board suggesting the board was defective and reconditioned. Until I clean up this mess, I won't turn it on. Lower price means more work. Poor standards even for a Chinese made board. I'll update if it works. Need a clean DC input and shield if you don't like noise with audio

  • New

They work great with string and condenser mics

I built a small amp using one of these in combination with a reverb board. They work great with stringed instruments and condenser microphones. My amp was designed specifically for the Native American flute. In the photo you can see a black coaxial DC connector, four green connectors for two speakers, both if you want mono, and two white connectors represent audio input. One of these is jumpered, if you want mono just remove it for another channel if you want to use it stereo. it is too…

Great price, great sound

It won't shake the house to the ceiling, but for near-field applications like computers and light background music, it's the ticket. For the money you can't go wrong with this little stereo amp. I will use it to make small tabletop speakers for Christmas gifts. The sound is clear and crisp when connected to good speakers. I hooked it up to some old Radio Shack speakers that still sound great and this little amp is a great addition to them. You need to build a small enclosure for them or place…

So just fix it from the factory maybe 1 star maybe 5 who knows

2 stars for now because there are no instructions I don't have time to try it because I don't have time to run after the schematic and no pictures or ibfo on the surface of this side or board on input or output it is high input low input and what + - dunno a simple thing might lead me to solve this instead of another problem, very disappointed at the lack of concern to the buyer on the part protect against short circuits from the manufacturer? I hope so, given the last paragraph I wrote. To…

No documentation! in Home audio

Great little amp for the money, but it took me my audio/electronics skills to figure out how the connectors were laid out. It would be great if the diagram was included in the description or on the map that came with the unit, but it isn't. It's basically a demo board for a chip that can do anything, so you can google that chip and get a bunch of different boards that use it, along with their documentation. but they did not correspond to my measurements. You can also get the manufacturer's…
