Hillsdale Villa Vanity Stool Antique Review

I bought this to use in my antique dressing table and use it every day! It's the perfect height and thickness. The legs need to be attached but this was very easy to do with the Allen key provided. I then glued it to the bottom of the stool to use for tightening when needed! Very satisfied with quality and price!

So the dressing table is quite beautiful and very durable! The pillow is dark beige and firm with just enough padding to feel comfortable yet firm. If you need to reach something high, I'm even comfortable standing on it! The base and legs are made of heavy duty thick metal which will require assembly upon receipt. Including instructions! It took 15-20 minutes to assemble, I recommend it to everyone!

I bought this chair for my 17 year old daughter's new dressing table. Just collecting it was a bit difficult. So I suggest having another pair of hands when you collect it. Some people say that not all parts are suitable for their reviews; they all fit, you just have to find the right place for the center piece. The quality is good and looks nice. It was a fantastic price too. Highly recommended.

Packaged arrived on time and was exactly as described. I was worried about assembling it but no problems were found. The assembly instructions were well thought out (including the Allen key) and each part was clearly marked with a label that matched the label on the stool, which is practically reliable. Other companies may have adopted build notes from this company. The stool is stable and fits perfectly in my dressing room. Very happy with this purchase.

Overall this stool is very attractive, but remember that 'antique beige' actually means it's some kind of textured spray paint and a color that can cover up an ugly flowerpot or something . My husband took it apart for me and painted it gold and it looks amazing. The design is really good in terms of shape. The seat is great and very comfortable. It seems extremely durable. The ending is just a little ugly.

Sturdy! I bought another one at a popular hardware store and it fell apart after a year. This item is very strong and reinforced and you can tighten the screws if they loosen. There are no soldered parts to fall apart in use. The only downside is that the padding on the top of the chair is very hard and not too comfortable, but since I only use it for 15 minutes once a day, it's bearable. Otherwise it looks great and is well made. It took me 15 minutes to assemble

The stool is beautiful, durable and easy to assemble. My problem is that the bottom part doesn't align properly with the decorative part. I checked twice that it installed correctly and it is. The metal part is not curved to match the design of the stool, so it sticks out and could scratch you. I have attached an image for reference. Well I like it. Didn't think it would fit, but with a little strength and power it really works when it's all put together. It is strong and straight, with straight legs. But it requires strength and manipulation on your part, the pieces just don't fit well together. The silver screws also stick out uncomfortably. Some people have painted their feet a different color and that would help a lot in hiding them. Maybe someday, when I don't have a hundred other things to do, I'll think about it. For
