I've used this product before. It copes well with snow at a depth of 2-3 feet in the woods. The only issue was a manufacturing defect that prevented one of the spats from tightening properly around the calf. I contacted support about this issue and they quickly found a satisfactory solution. I only gave one star for the original defect. Otherwise the product appears to be of high quality and customer support was a pleasure to work with.

I have tried many different gaiters over the years and I like this design with a zipper instead of the usual velcro. A big bonus is that it zips up from the top down. So if you need to tie your laces while hiking, just undo the bottom part and you can access your boots without opening your gaiters (other brands use velcro if you have to) in the middle of a hike in deep snow it can be tricky at times to close these guys again - not so with this zipper).
