iBasso DX320 is the latest and greatest music player from iBasso Audio, which includes two ROHM DAC chips, a dual battery system for analog and digital sections, Android 11 and Mango dual OS, and more. The DX320 is also backward compatible with amplifier boards for the DX300 player, the company''s previous flagship. The Beginning of the BD34301EKV Era Designed as part of the high quality ROHM MUS-ICTM series, the pinnacle of quality in digital-to-analog conversion chips, the BD34301EKV DAC chip emphasizes "spatial reverb", "silence" and "dynamic range" - qualities essential to the reproduction of any music. The original sound quality design technology can successfully reproduce the purposeful natural flow of sound. At the same time, best-in-class low noise and low distortion (130dB signal-to-noise ratio, -115dB THD) delivers the high performance required by high-fidelity audio equipment. With the DX320, iBasso has carefully designed the circuitry and implementation of this DAC to allow the new chip to shine in all its glory. With more than a decade of customization and design experience, and a constant pursuit of technological innovation, the new flagship DX320 is a product based on the superior performance of past generations of iBasso DAPs!In-house FPGA Development iBasso''s DX320 adopts its own FPGA-Master technology. The FPGA-Master, as an audio system controller, directly requests audio data from the SoC and plays an important role in signal reproduction and maintaining its integrity. It synchronizes and generates all audio clocks simultaneously using two Accusilicon femtosecond oscillators to achieve a fully synchronized single clock source. FPGAs and oscillators also reduce jitter to an extremely low level, resulting in an exceptionally pure digital audio signal. Android sound processing does not have a high system priority. The addition of FPGA-Master technology elevates audio planning to the highest priority in system processing, creating a stable and interference-free digital audio system for the DX320. Patented Dual Battery Architecture The power system is one of the most important parts of the player and has a decisive influence on the sound quality. SoCs, DACs, AMPs, and other components place stringent requirements on transient power supplies. When one battery powers the entire system, the high current drawn by the digital part and the analog part can interfere with each other, which can cause distortion that degrades sound quality. The DX320 uses a patented dual battery design, with the amplifier and digital section powered by independent batteries. Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

I bought two additional modules for the player (AMP12, AMP13). With the built-in amplifier (AMP11 MK2s) the player already sounds like "all the money". No accents are added on the entire range, it does not go into warmth and does not brighten at high frequencies. The soundstage is very large even in iems.   • Sound development, replaceable amplifier modules, high output power, high-quality display, adequate hardware and sufficient internal memory. Two OS: Android 11 and Mango OS - pure player without android. Contents of delivery.
Cons
  • Gluttonous processor. In Bluetooth mode, DAC is limited to SBC, AAC codecs, while in Bluetooth source mode it outputs up to LDAC-990. (I did not check it myself in BT-DAC mode, only in BT-source mode)
