We took them on vacation and found they take up almost no space in a suitcase. They provide extra support and prevent children from scratching their feet in the pool. However, the fabric and seams are already frayed. They're probably good for a few months at best. But they serve our purpose perfectly and they are cheap.

The hole is very stretchy so it's easy to put on and fits snugly around my 2 year old's foot. It also keeps sand out for the most part as it fits snugly, but when sand does get in my son doesn't hold it and he can take it off himself. Otherwise he doesn't notice her. Gives me peace of mind when he's walking on the beach or lake (I'm always scared of broken glass or something horrible) and the handles prevent him from slipping. They've already been defeated, and so far so good! No rips or holes.
