I was looking for a small scratching post for the living room that doesn't take up too much space, perfect. it's quite small but that's exactly what I wanted as the other scratching post I have just takes up too much space. It's big enough for at least 3 of my cats and they all seem to be enjoying it at the moment. If you're short on space, this is the perfect scratching post

"The Cave" below is a decent size but everything else, pipe, halfpipe, platform at the top is quite small: my big cat so ignores this scratching post quite. My little cat spends some time in the den and on the top platform but not in the chimney or half chimney at all. I think the design doesn't give the cat a 'path' to follow to get to the whistle and half whistle, so it either goes into the den below or jumps off the furniture onto the top platform, nothing in between .

Kitty was in love with her new tree before we even had it! It only took me about 30 minutes and she loves the fact that it has scratching shelves, rug shelves, a rounded sill for comfort and safety, and then there's the top which is basically a good sleeping area for her. . There is also a hanging toy that she can play with whenever she wants. This product is about 3.5 feet tall and comes to my waist. Doesn't take up much space just the height. Definitely great for small spaces or corners!

From unpacking to fully assembling (all screws and tools included) it took about 20 minutes and our little kitten immediately got to work. Lots of places to scratch, jump and sleep. Because it's small (only 4 pounds) it works well, but I don't see how a 10 or 12 pound cat can use anything but the bottom or top with comfort. The rug on it is flimsy so it's not the most comfortable toy, but adding a little blanket helps a lot. If you have a kitten or small cat, then a decent scratching post.

Assembly was fairly easy and took 15 minutes with relatively clear instructions. Although I had enough screws, some of them were changed to other sizes. Fortunately, this did not interfere with construction. The main problem as you can see in the attached picture is that the diameter of the tunnel is too small for anything other than a small cat/kitten. The location of the tunnel also makes access to the upper level difficult. Finally, at the base of the round top tier is an open screw head…

This tree was very easy to set up and took only 12 minutes from start to finish. It is extremely strong and has a pretty good durable material. We introduced it to our kitties today and they just LOVE this thing to death. They love to climb on it, scratch the pole, nap on it and sometimes just relax as shown in the picture.
