I bought these lights to use under the sink and other dark areas of the cabinet. They are very bright and the motion detection is great. They turn on immediately when I open the cabinets. I especially like the magnetic/adhesive strip they use so you can easily remove and then reattach the lights to change batteries. I was concerned that these LEDs would lose most of their brightness in a very short time like any LED flashlight I've ever used. They're damn bright with new batteries, losing 60% of their brightness after just a few uses. Batteries, of course, last a long time, but I change them more often because there is not enough light.
