Moody vibe and vintage feel

I'm still experimenting with this lens but overall it's similar to what I've seen so far. It has a wonderfully soft vintage feel with vignette and delivers beautiful shots. It's quirky and I like it. Noise doesn't bother me at all. Focusing is difficult though and I'm not used to being that far from the subject for fuller shots. Needs more trial and error on my part.

Pros
  • Camera lenses
Cons
  • Power outlet required

Funny toy lens

I mean you get what you pay for, the lens is quite light loving at f/8 (probably a little less to be honest) and the focus is a bit "soft" ". (and soft, I mean Vaseline), but it shoots well with all the things you'd expect from a Holga (vignetting, chromatic aberration, blur). It's all 100% plastic, no surprises, but it looks like it could take a hit Images were taken on a Canon M50 with a Viltrox EF-S/EF to EF-M adapter, if you're used to full frame cameras it's like a 100mm -Lens.

  • Lenses
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Fun toy, use with crop sensor for best results.

People love this lens. It's a toy, come on! If you're interested in lo-fi photography but don't want to mess around with medium format 120 film, this camera will serve you well. If you're looking to add L-Series glass to your arsenal, just don't. They will leave negative feedback and turn people away from a potentially fun lens. I would only use it with a cropped sensor housing though. I have a full frame cannon and the edges vignette a lot. The photo center is nice though, so I need to do some
