I was very happy about this festive dress for my daughter. My daughter is a size 6, I ordered a size 8 thinking she could get a plus size pair of holiday outfits and I could tuck it in and then release when she's tall. This dress was too long for my daughter - almost to her ankles - and at least an inch wider. I've seamed it and I think I'll keep it for next year so it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's not entirely surprising either - I ordered a size 5 as size 4 got too small and she will be 5 in December - but she is only 43 inches tall. I probably should have bought her a size 4.
