High accuracy: the LCD display is readable even at sunlight and shows the measurements in Inch/MM. Measurement range: 0-1in/0-25mm; resolution: 0.00005in/0.001mm; accuracy: 0.002mm. Ratchet thimble and fixed thimble for precise application of pressure on object.

Accuracy and easy to read compared to a traditional micrometer

Do a lot of auto work and have an old manual micrometer. Decided to try digital. When I received the product I measured a few things with my old digital and then the new one and was surprised to get the same readings from both. I also like the plastic case that protects the instrument from damage.

Very accurate! Best in Outside Micrometer

I've been looking for a decent outside micrometer for a long time. was very close to getting the $400+ but opted for this one instead just because I wasn't sure I was going to use the $400 microns ha. I use it to design 3D models for printing and I have to say that because of the accuracy that 40 micron tolerance is spot on! I'll probably order another one for my "on-the-go shopping bag".

Easy to read and easy to use!

I never thought I would need one of these but I've actually used it around the house more than once. I chose this one after looking quite a bit and reading the reviews and I'm really happy with it. It's heavy, easy to use, which is the most important thing for me, and very accurate, which is another important point. I liked that it was flat, the numbers were easy to read and it was very well made, I think it will last quite a while.
