It's hard to see in the photo but those shiny bits are like gaps in the wool side which makes it look kinda cheap to me. It's naturally warm and soft and is a king size, but I wanted it to be prettier. I believe some of them are more expensive as a result. we all snuggle up to him on the couch and make love (actually too hot sometimes)

This is the softest, most comfortable blanket I have ever had! The whole family loves it! Haven't washed it yet so can't confirm durability. I'm worried that the "Sherpa" will get confused. The only thing I don't like is that the two materials are only sewn together at the edges, leaving the rest of the comforter loose, resulting in lumps.

later I have white, more cream/ivory so doesn't go with my white bedding. It's okay though, because it happens under the covers. It smelled funny right out of the box and went away after I washed/dried it as recommended on the box. It's super soft and comfortable. For the price I'm satisfied, although softness does not equal luxury. I would have expected more weight and thickness to consider it luxurious, but it's still soft and comfortable.

Before ordering I read many reviews about this duvet. I could only find one comment about spilling. The ceiling is not glued. It is sewn at the corners. It's very soft and comfortable. I am washing and drying for the third time hoping to get rid of excess pile! I figured this would not be a quality blanket given the price. I use a glue roller every morning! I don't like the thought of us inhaling fluff! Very disappointed! I only recommend it if you don't mind lint. I'm surprised by all the good

Very soft warm blanket without being heavy. However, it slips everywhere because the sherpa lining is not sewn to the fleece outer material except for the outer seams. It's not what I really wanted, but it was cheap enough so I'll keep it until it falls apart or it annoys me too much. It seems to wash well. It doesn't pill or shrink in the washer and dryer, which is a plus. All in all, this is an OK blanket if you want it soft and warm and don't mind the fleece and Sherpa constantly slipping…

I was asked to rate how "light" this duvet is. I scored 3 stars because I don't know what to say because I needed the weight. Either way it's thick and a good weight. I ordered pink double size. I understand that different flashes affect the color, but this pink is quite dull, like a ballerina pink. Doesn't match my daughter's pink sheets but doesn't look terrible.
