🪑 HON Crio High-Back Fabric Mesh Task Chair for Office Desk - Black (HVL581) Review

I have had this chair since March 2020 and have been working 8+ hours sitting. This chair looks great once assembled and is cheaper than other options. My problems: 1. The box it came in was so dented that it was impossible to send it back - possibly a carrier or warehouse error. 2. The chair's piston is weak, so you can't sit higher. This is my main complaint about the chair.3. The seat cushion is quite thin, I use the seat cushion after 2 months of use.

I am disappointed with this product as the seat has lasted so long. Initially I was very happy with my purchase as I got good lumbar support and some relief from mild back pain. However, I'm a medium-sized male (180 pounds) and the seat has compacted and doesn't cushion very well. My back pain is now back to what it was before I bought it. I definitely don't blame the chair for my pain, but I'm disappointed that the seat only provided support for 5 months given the $170 price tag.

In this review I would like to address the place of manufacture. We have spent many hours searching for a quality chair made in the USA. Everything we found for HON showed their US manufacturing facilities. So we order a $200 chair and it's made in CHINA. Not happy with the hidden information about where they came from. I've had this chair for a year now and I just hate it. my back, hips and knees ache from sitting in it all day. The lumbar support is a joke and the length of the seat is too short leaving a few inches of my legs between the edge of the seat and the backs of my knees without support. There was only one issue I found which is a metal brace connecting to the floor under the seat that rises and surrounds holding the rear support frame and the cushion had a design issue which caused the rear support tilted forward.
