Good price and delivery on time

I called several dealers prior to this purchase 1997 Honda Accord Lx, thermostat. Many aftermarket OEM thermostats are available. My impression is that dealers don't want to sell parts to the general public. It's overpriced anyway, you have to wait a long time or both. I also replaced the temperature sensor installed on the same assembly. Considering how cheap the prices are online. Also, the car has 184,000 miles on it, why not get it out of the way. Honda no longer has problems with…

Update - I bought another one for my now '94 Honda Accord and am still impressed with the quality. OE part no problem. All do not save, pay extra and buy the original thermostat. At least you know it won't let you down in a few weeks and you'll have to do all the work all over again. This is a Honda OEM part included in a Honda parts package. The only true. Bought it for my '93 Honda Accord. I would strongly recommend getting rid of all secondary thermostats. I know this probably sounds crazy…

Works in a 2001 Accord EX

This was a Honda OEM part so fits perfectly, no leaks. You will need a 10mm spanner and 10mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver. First, drain (and recycle) the antifreeze. Second, remove the air cleaner cap and hose, disconnect various hoses etc. You will need a 10mm socket for the top bolt of the thermostat housing and a 10mm spanner for the bottom bolt - you won't see it, but you will can feel it with your hand just behind the clamp and the bigger black pipe. Then open it up and make sure you…

Honda Genuine Part Fits 2003 Civic Ex Easy Install

Replaced with generic version when 2003 Civic engine overheats but no heat coming out of internal vents. OEM parts are always worth a few bucks more, especially for Honda. The old thermostat was closed, preventing coolant from circulating from the engine to the radiator. Tips: 1) Install the knurled rubber gasket directly onto the swing pin. The two rubber tabs on the gasket protrude from the thermostat spring side and fit into the grooves on the thermostat housing during installation. When…
