🚦 Honda 33401-MFR-305 Lens, Turn Signal: Reliable Replacement Part for Enhanced Visibility Review

I was a bit worried about having to buy a full set of lens caps because they could be slightly different from the originals. To my pleasant surprise, it was an exact match and everything was ready. Perfect fit and easy installation. It is identical to all my other Honda VTX lenses.

Item fits and looks the same as the original lens cap but comes without the metal clip or screw required to attach the lens cap. This is really frustrating because these parts aren't easy to come by and I ended up gluing a square nut onto the lens to hold it in place while I inserted the screw.

The original lens had a small metal bracket where you need to put the bottom screw. The lens fits neatly and holds its place in the turn signal housing, but the screw does NOT prevent the lens from falling out with typical motorcycle vibrations on the road. I had to screw in the bottom screw and secure it with tape.

These lenses factory fit my '05 Honda VTX 1300R perfectly. My lens fell off when I pulled over after exiting the freeway and then ran into oncoming traffic. I watched the car drive by and sure enough one of them smashed the lens with their tire. LAUGH OUT LOUD! For less than $10, I'm very happy to be back in the factory parts business. I should probably order 3 more just in case.
