First I gave Hone Alone a five star rating. Now a few months later I have to downgrade this to three stars. It worked fine for a month or so, but then the surface started to become uneven and crumble. I always move the razor in the same direction, so it's not a problem. I've had this for a little over a week and use it on my Gillette. The blades don't seem to dull that quickly. The problem with Hon is that it's too narrow. Every move should be a razor blade, but it isn't. You have to make two moves to fully sharpen the blade because they made it too narrow. They shouldn't have cut the cost of production that much. I was really hoping this thing would work as advertised. When I first got it I realized it wouldn't work with the type of razor I was using so I went ahead and bought a blade with more open blades so it could work. Ultimately, this product does nothing.

Good. I had my doubts about this tool, but other reviews cheered me up, so I decided to give it a try. I love it! I use a 3 blade razor on my legs and armpits. I've been using ONE razor for over six months since using it and it stays sharp. I want my husband to use it. That would save even more money.
