Bought for my husband who threatened to shave off his beard if I didn't find him new beard oil. This one had great reviews. As soon as he opened it, he said he couldn't use it because of the smell. A while ago he had what we would call a "bad experience" drinking Fireball Whiskey, and he said he smelled so much of Fireball that he felt instantly nauseous. this stuff really helps! My beard used to be really stiff and "rough" but now that I have this stuff and use it at least once a day my beard is definitely loosening up a bit. The only "complaint" I have is that it contains some black liquorice (aka anise, but I didn't want the kids to giggle). I don't really mind the smell, but almost everyone I know HATES the smell. However, this does not last long and usually disappears within a few minutes.

Excellent product. I'm new to growing facial hair. This oil is excellent. Its ingredients are natural. Although it has a pleasant herbal, earthy scent, it's very mild (and soothing when I inhale it!). I love that this is a simple, traditional recipe that soothes itching and moisturizes the skin. TOO MUCH OF. The bottle says to use just a few drops, and rightly so. It won't feel like much, but a few drops will do you good. Make sure you also have a good comb/brush to spread the oil around.

I'm not sure if my beard is growing because of these products but I know it is. So I reordered them, this is the longest beard I have grown, after 30+ years in the military I wanted to grow a beard. I like him, my wife doesn't at first, but he grew up on her, now she adores him.

I bought this oil with the balm (from Honest Amish) I won't buy again! This oil (and balm) smells very strong. I don't know how to describe the scent but I would rather smell BO with dirty socks than wear this oil again!
