I used an ash blonde (taupe) which is actually a regular dark grey, not a blonde. For me it was light enough but too ashy. So I went for a warm blonde (brown) but it's much darker. In fact, it shouldn't be called blonde at all, since it's actually a normal brown (lighter than a brunette, but still brown). Eyebrows are new to me. It worked great for my fair, sensitive skin. I'm a natural dirty blonde and the color suits well. The pencil lays down smoothly and is well shaded. The product builds and darkens with each stroke, making it easy to achieve a natural or bold tone. Built-in spooly saves lives

Obviously we live in a world where the top line is brown. The top line is a pencil in "brown". Bottom line is this is my regular brown pen that I use from another brand. I can't imagine a world where tops are brown. It's greyish brown. Or dirty blonde. Or something, but definitely not blonde and not good for brunettes.

I have naturally thick, black eyebrows and I really like that this eyebrow pencil emphasizes them only slightly. It's a lighter color than my brows so they look a lot more natural than a darker pencil. The pen itself is not too hard and not too soft - just right. :) I love that it comes with a spool as it brushes my brows nicely and gives them a raised look. Another Honest Beauty favorite!

I only use non-toxic options and have never found a brow pencil or any type of brow tint that really works the way I hope it will. Lord have mercy, I'm so glad that's actually all I want. It even lasts all day (I'm used to brow pencils slowly fading off my face or my oily face so the pencil is easy to lift and wipe off). I have dark brown hair and found the brown pencil worked perfectly.

Bye Chanel eyebrow pencil! I was looking for a cheaper and cleaner eyebrow pencil than my favorite Chanel. I found this! The same color pays off. Glides smoothly. I will buy again and again.

I have light eyebrows, which cannot be seen in the photos. (Yes, it borders on comics!) This pen works great. It goes on smoothly, with no flaking and lumps. The color is dark blonde which is perfect for me but may not suit girls looking for a light blonde.

Firstly, I am picky about eyebrow products and even more picky about light toned eyebrow products. They claim that the blonde is warmer, and that's true. But this is perhaps the most natural warm shade of blonde I've ever used. No tacky brass color, it blends in very naturally. These days it's really hard to find a good brow pencil that doesn't come in a plastic case and I try to find an alternative to single use plastic whenever possible. Most wooden brow pencils I've tried won't color without strong pressure, which irritates the sensitive skin under the brows. This one is spot on.
