Based on how we use them (casual access, easy storage) I expect them to last as long as we need them. I would buy them again for this application. Great basket - can be used as a gift basket/care set. Bought soups, hot chocolate, tea, popcorn, movies, Redvines & Twizzlers, chocolate, mixed nuts, a crappy book, a sleep mask and fluffy socks for a friend before surgery. We bought this because we thought it would save us space under the sink. We have minimal storage space so towels took up a lot of space and we didn't have room for anything else. The basket is too big to fit under our sink and fits perfectly in our hall closet, but it's too tall and we would have to remove the entire basket to get the towel.
