Suitable for grain only after modification. Then it's still a stretch if the novelty wears off. I'll start by saying I don't think you're going to use this out of a cereal box. The distance between the rubber wheels is not enough to feed more than a few flakes at a time or in a circle, for example. Still, you'll need 8 to 10 twists or more to fill the bowl with granola.

This is the WORST product! It does not disperse flakes in an efficient manner. It's cheap plastic, the granola doesn't stay fresh, and turning the knob spreads the granola around. Huge waste of money and will be sent back!

Looks good in the kitchen. The dispenser works by turning the handle while you place a bowl underneath. Slowly turn the knob until the desired amount of granola is in the bowl. Expect a bit of chaos when handing out cereal. I find oatmeal better here than crunchy ones like cornflakes.

Very easy to assemble. Arrived very well packaged. The only downside is that not all cereals work. Cereals like Cheerios, Kix aren't a problem - others like Special K or Lucky Charms tend to get a little crushed or stuck when you turn the knob, but kids love it and it allows them to be more independent.

Bought this thinking it would be easier to start the day with four kids. It really isn't. I feel like I need four hands to use this thing. With one hand hold the bowl as high as possible to catch the "flying" porridge, with the other hand keep the canister swinging, with one hand twist the handle and with the other hand insert it into the Canister to help the flakes get into the "rudder". For the price I am very disappointed.
