My needle does not match the tiny hole specified. I broke two needles before figuring out what the problem is :(

This foot works great with my Brother XR9550PRW. There is no such door, but this one fits perfectly.

I really like this sewing foot. I had it for a year but when I first got it I didn't use it much. I've been quilting more lately and have been using it mostly every day for the past 2 weeks. As much as I don't like it, it has a flaw. For some reason, when sewing on the wrong side of the fabric across the seams, the wrong side of the presser foot slips under the seams and freezes. I ordered two of these and one fits my new Brother sewing machine but not mine which is an older model. Good price if it fits. She is happy. I'm disappointed mine didn't fit. It was listed in the models it was supposed to fit. Okay, I like one of the two.
