🌴 Review: Honeywell Ceiling Fans 50504-01 Royal Palm Ceiling Fan, 52-inch, Aged Brass - Best Features and Performance Review

I have installed and owned many ceiling fans and this is the best yet. It was easy to install. It is perfectly balanced and looks beautiful. The light set is very bright. But the best part is the air movement. At high altitude, this fan creates a cyclone of fine air. I'm replacing my current bedroom fan with this one, although the style doesn't match because the airflow is just second to none.

Master installed it for me. Only comes with a 4" bottom bar so had to purchase an 18" bar - those Hunter fan compatibles will work. Fans and 4 lights work great. I plan to buy different glass balls for lighting. I love that you can use regular E26 bulbs up to 40w - they come with 25w bulbs which are bright enough. I also had to add beaded chain extensions so I ended up with some glass extensions with an antique look. I love palm fan leaves. Easily wipeable and easily replaceable bulb.

Our beautiful fan had a motor failure and I've been looking for a good leaf ceiling fan for several days. We chose this one because it looked good in the picture. When it arrived we found that the "wooden" sheets were made of cork. Cheap. The instructions were confusing. We installed at least 8 fans during our marriage and this was the worst decision ever. We also bought a mounting option which was pretty much the same as the fan itself, but it took an electrician about an hour and a half to install it, and we bought a remote control to make it easier to operate and he did that too, like that that it was worth the cost to me. This fan was installed in our bedroom, so a quiet fan was a must. We live in Florida so it's open 24 hours a day. Installation was easy for about an hour, but there were already wires and a hole from the previous fan. The blades look ok although poorly stained, inconsistent between each blade and stains but the blades rotate so this is not an issue. Was initially happy with it as it was very quiet with no hum or buzz. Light sleepers so any random noise or rocking noise keeps us awake. Well…
