They were easy to install and the light color is much better than the old fluorescent bulbs. After all the reviews, I expected the installation to be a nightmare. It was actually a breeze, although I had to drill my own cutouts in half of the jigs. No problem with wiring space. I've attached a picture of a new LED light (left) and an old fluorescent light (right) for comparison.

I bought 6 of these bulbs in different sizes to replace old fluorescent tubes that have failed. After installing according to the instructions, I found it much easier to insert the LED strip piece with a straight screwdriver and press down on each of the metal tabs that hold it in place. There is a small protrusion in the metal that the screwdriver will indent first. I made the first 2 by pressing as hard as I could with my hand to make them snap into place. USE A FLAT SCREWDRIVER!

Tired of old school CFLs but needed a robust LED solution. It is great. I received the 48 inch screen and it arrived fresh and clean. Overall, the installation was pretty easy. There is a link in the instructions to a YouTube video where everything is clearly laid out. Squeeze the element on both sides of the tongue (so that the tongue is in the middle and you squeeze it with both hands, each a few inches from the tongue) and they will go in very easily. - firmly Thank you!

I can't offer any wise advice on installation. Just know that you will learn the humiliation of being outwitted by stamped metal and LEDs. Your temper and patience will be tested, as will your vulgar vocabulary, so please do not try to correct when your children are in the house. They will be afraid of you. My wife wanted LED lights under the cabinets in the kitchen to replace our broken fluorescent lights. We've replaced some bulbs, but can't match Light Shade with other working tubes. I looked for Warm White (2700K) because I knew other whites were already too bright and too white. This Honeywell model doesn't have motion detection and selectable intensity, which we don't need. I already have hard wiring, so the model is cheaper. Different lengths are good for our needs. I would recommend it…

We bought these because they were easy to install and installation was a nightmare! First, why pack the screws in the bracket itself so that the buyer has to find them by touching them? OK. not that bad. But the idea behind the attachment isn't to use wire nuts, just stick the wires from the wall into these orange plastic pieces to attach them. Big. This is an acceptable lamp. Parts include a small 3/8" break-out cable clamp (handy since all my cables are rated for 1/2" or larger). The instructions do not describe disassembly/assembly. These steps require bending the LED panel to release the perforated tabs (shown in the images). I installed 10 out of 1000 under cabinet lights. Since everything went where it should have been thin and invisible, this made installation VERY difficult! So bad that the thought of installing it would scare me. After a brief renovation in our kitchen, I needed to install a light over the sink.
