Mold problems gone

For a long time I used a hookless fabric insert with a hookless shower curtain. I had to constantly clean the shower because mold grew quickly, although I left the exhaust fan on and made sure to shake and straighten the curtain after every shower. I replaced the fabric liner with a polyester last month and my mold problems are gone. I can go much longer without a shower and mold doesn't form!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Modern

You probably want fabric, not plastic

The product therefore works as intended and meets the advertised performance. However, if you've spent the money on a curtain and lining, chances are you'll be changing them frequently. I wanted to change the curtain paneling frequently like I do on Airbnb in my guest room. Plastic is not the best option! Yes, while you can put it in the washing machine, you CANNOT put it in the dryer and you'll probably get stuck water all over the floor when you take it out of the washing machine.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Crumpled

Love the liner

I love the liner and I like the fabric shower curtain that comes with it (white with a subtle checkerboard pattern). "Without a catch" is cool too. It's really annoying how quickly these things go moldy, but I don't think it's specific to this particular brand of PEVA liner. Just a general complaint. In any case, this is my second replacement of this brand. I bought my last replacement in August and it lasted 9 months with no problems. The PEVA liner previously lasted 10 months, so about the…

I like it! best bathroom accessories

Wow! After reading all these negative reviews I was really scared to buy this product. I love my fabric shower curtain, but with the fabric lining, I'm tired of all the puddles of water on the floor. I've searched for other plastic covers but haven't found anything. I took a risk I bought 2 just in case. They're skinny, but not skinny. For flowing curtain fabrics, they should be thin. It was a "click" to paste. I love it. I bought ceramic magnets to make the floor heavier. I haven't used them…

Lowe doesn't care. Thanks Revane

So I bought an easy to use hookless shower curtain from Lowe's as I'm renting for a year and don't want to mess with the landlord's shower rod and I hate messing with all the hooks. The problem is that there was no latch in the kit. So I was forced to either shower with a curtain in the tub, it's fabric and got wet, or outside the tub and used towels for the water. I went with the latter, got bored quickly and returned to Lowe's, where the liner just can't be bought. It's funny, but I bought…

Shower with a Dollar Store Sandwich Bag

You know that feeling of something wet and rough floating up and touching you when you're swimming in a lake or pond? own shower. Lightweight plastic with no weight that just floats and sticks to any part of your body that gets wet. Don't make the same mistake: This stuff is a shower-sized sandwich bag that fits right in your shower. Now you will spend more time making sure the shower pad doesn't touch you and then take a shower. The only 5 stars for SIMPLE. Actually it's not very good.

  • Great Design

I prefer PEVA to fabric and get 4-6 months off it with CleanShower.

I've been using the same curtain with a new lining for about 4 years. I have a cloth liner (which I wash in wool and vinegar between uses) but I prefer these PEVA liners. I find these PEVA pads last 4-6 months using a clean shower every day. They end up with pink goo (which I'm assuming is some kind of mold). When this happens I try to clean it out once or twice and sterilize the tub with bubble baths and mold/mildew remover. When the curtain turns out to be dead, I put on a fabric version and…

Have used this set for over 6 years

Have used this combination curtain for over 6 years. Yes, the fabric and plastic curtain will shape over time depending on how often you shower. If you've caught a fabric curtain in the early stages of mold, you can spray it with an antibacterial agent or use vinegar, then clean and rinse the affected area. I've never noticed the mold on the plastic coming off, so I just replace the plastic latch with parts. The bathroom I use is used to take a shower once a day and then the curtain is drawn to
