Simple Solution to Wiring Woes

After trying this wiring kit, I can confidently say it is a game-changer when it comes to trailer wiring. The pieces were all clearly labeled and easy to install. Automotive installation can be a pain, but this product made it a breeze. The only downside was the instructions were a bit vague but, with a little common sense, it was not too difficult to figure out. Overall, a great addition to any RV owner's toolkit!

Pros
  • Easy to install and use
Cons
  • Requires basic knowledge of electrical wiring to install

Light Weight Towbar with Plug

Easy to install on my SUV. Fits directly into an OEM connector. The only issue I had was that the pins in this connector weren't fully seated and nothing worked. Took half an hour to find the problem, works great now

Pros
  • Corrosion Resistant Connector Features
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Check your configuration!

IF and ONLY IF your Mariner had a factory towing kit. This is a great plug and go suspension. However, my car didn't have a factory tow kit, but it HAS wires hanging from the bumper (so I figured I could use that). After careful investigation, I have found that if your vehicle does not have a factory tow kit, you will need to replace the ENTIRE Smart Junction Box (SMJ) under the center console (which will cost several hundred dollars). The signal lights on the trailer wiring harness are powered

Pros
  • Includes dust cover, ground screw and grease pack
Cons
  • Slightly torn
