Hosa usually swings but QC is bad for her.

The cables in the photo do not match the cables received. These cables are a bit finicky and often require some adjustments. Cable weight is also an issue when using a stand or when hanging vertically.

As expected for Ethernet cable

Arrived in good condition. High sound quality was expected, I have been using Hosa cables for many years, they never disappoint.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Great price good product

I use these in my studio to connect a PreSonus I/O box to my speakers. The PreSonus doesn't have an XLR output, but it does have TRS, and my powered speakers have TRS, so everything works great. This is the best price I've seen for this short length. The construction is molded in plastic, which I can't choose for a temporary installation, but it's permanent and I expect it to last forever.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Slightly dented

I used them as a symmetrical pair for left and right connections.

I like all Hosa materials in general and saved myself when I needed a special cable. In this case, I found that when I used a non-stereo cable from my computer's audio interface to the mixer, I got a lot of noise. I noticed that the interface and mixer mentioned that they would accept a "balanced" cable. These stereo cables give me a ferrule on the spade lug that serves as a balanced cable. Guess what? He completely eliminated the noise I picked up.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Damaged

Best Ethernet cable quality

No static electricity at all. This is a good product and I recommend it. I can't comment on durability as I just received the item.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Received Broken cable

I ordered the 9ft version, unfortunately the right channel doesn't work. Luckily I was finally able to test it out just before the end of the return period and order a replacement which is still on the way. I suspected a software issue, but after fixing it, I narrowed the problem down to the red channel on this cable. I will update this review if the replacement works but for now I recommend you don't wait to try it as I noticed another reviewer had a similar issue and waited too long to try…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Better than in the photo!

These cables don't look exactly like the picture but this is one of those rare cases where it's really good. I received the 6ft version and the cables I received are red and black by default (instead of the fancy orange-brown shown in the picture), TRS style as stated in the listing title (not TS as on the picture) and has a new, more powerful plastic connector. I've included an image of the actual product so you can see what the cables actually look like. The two cables are connected to…

Pros
  • The best in its niche

Inexpensive balanced cables

I have had several Hosa branded cables over the years which have generally been good value for money and worked well. I use these cables as balanced signal cables between a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface and a pair of Presonus Eris 3.5s. Nice little low budget setup. Since the audio interface has a balanced output and the speakers have a balanced input, I figured that balanced cables could also be used to avoid interference. And it works great, no noise can be heard. However, I've only…

Pros
  • One year trial
