Hot Max 23098 Spotweld Standard Review

This spot welding tool from the Industrial and Scientific category failed to impress me. After I put it to the test, I found that it lacked the precision and power needed for heavy-duty welding tasks. The few successful welds I made with it were inconsistent and the low-quality construction did not instill confidence in its durability..

I was hesitant to try this out but I am glad that I did .Through trial and error, I found that this spot welder was able to accurately and effectively weld various materials. The built-in timer made it easy to regulate welding times, and the ergonomic design allowed for comfortable use. The only con was that it took a bit of time to get accustomed to the settings, but once I did, it was smooth sailing..

This nozzle helps maintain a constant distance when spot welding in the pool. The only downside is visibility and it takes some practice to get it in the right spot to get the cable going where you expect it to. Good lighting in the work area also helps.
