Description of 🏠 Houseables Magnetic Ironing Blanket, Gray Quilted Laundry Pad, 18.25"x32.5", Heat Resistant Washer Dryer Pad, Ironing Board Alternative Cover

INSTANTLY TRANSFORM ANY FLAT SURFACE INTO AN IRONING BOARD. Our magnetic ironing mat instantly transforms any flat surface into a convenient ironing board. Its padding is made from a high quality quilted polyester-cotton fabric that can withstand high heats between 250°F - 300°F. Each corner of the mat contains a heavy-duty magnet that attaches itself to any metallic body surface for a secure hold while you iron. PORTABLE DESIGN ALLOWS IT TO BE TAKEN ANYWHERE. The mat measures 32 1⁄2” x 19” so it will fit completely atop most standard sized washer or dryers. Its lightweight but flexible design allows the mat to be rolled up, folded flat, or hung up between uses for space-saving storage. It also doubles as a convenient padding protector for your washer or dryer tops, keeping the surface safe from dust, scratching, and other minor surface damage. PERFECT FOR SMALLER SPACES AND TRAVEL. This mat serves as a clever alternative to traditional ironing boards, proving especially valuable to those who reside in studio apartment, dormitories, RVs, or other smaller living spaces that may not be able to facilitate bulky ironing boards. DURABLE ENOUGH TO HANDLE ANY SIZED JOB. Whether all you need is a quick touch up on a garment after it’s been pulled from the dryer, or you are tackling a load of heavier garments, this ironing mat can handle any sized ironing job. Its portability makes it a perfect traveling accessory, anywhere you may roam. ISN'T IT IRONIC: Ironing has never been more convenient, your clothes have never looked neater, and you have never looked sharper. Stop putting off until tomorrow what you can iron today!.

This product is a great idea but to be honest

I was looking forward to getting this as a convenience in my laundry room. However, when I first used it to iron a hand-sewn quilt block, the portion of the cover the iron touched wrinkled and even burned a small hole in the surface. This product is a great idea but honestly you need a cover to handle the iron - it's an ironing mat after all! (I'm typing this away from home or attaching a photo. Apologies. Hope the description is helpful enough.) As I am a seamstress I will be restoring the rug

Worst for irons and steamers

I'll start with the positive. We didn't have enough storage space so just having a quick pet really helped. That's all I can say on the positive points. All materials are wrong. It is quilted, depending on what material you iron you will get this pattern on your clothes. The worst thing is that it's made of 80% polyester. Again 80% polyester. A few years ago I ruined an 80% polyester t-shirt trying to iron it. That's what they made your ironing board from. Don't you dare put cotton clothes on…

Too thin, unsafe and NOT suitable for sewing/quilting

It has magnets in the corners and may work if put on the dryer but is too thin to use on other surfaces use. When the iron is on the cotton setting, the most common setting for quilting, the surface underneath the iron becomes too hot. I tried folding it in four, ironed a 4" seam (which takes about 5 seconds), then lifted the back to check the table. I could iron right on the table to enjoy all the protection this pad offers. Any thickness starting from the outside was apparently just fluff as…

Great little rug, quick way to pet.

I felt a bit silly ordering this but I've found myself using it all the time. I didn't want to buy a full size ironing board because I know that as a man I would leave it unattended all the time then it would become a messy table and I would never iron again. So, with that, I take it out, put it on a glass plate and iron it! Now all my uniforms look great again. I don't need magnets since I use the mat but they work well as weights and I'm sure some users will find them useful. Tip: If you're…

Fits my Maytag car

Unfortunately the washer and dryer connections are in the garage. That being said, I have no countertop space to put a laundry basket in when unloading/loading my basket. We put the basket on the dryer which resulted in scratches. As my set is still fairly new (about 1 year old) I decided to buy this to protect the top of my dryer from further scratches. The fit is great and the magnets on it help it stay in place. Someone commented that this doesn't work because new cars don't magnetize but as

Poor Quality Ironing Accessories

Ironing Blanket Purchased in October 2017 and I DO NOT recommend this purchase! I don't iron much, but I wanted something that was quick and easy to use. The first few times I used it, I noticed that where I stroked the pad began to lose its shape - almost like it was shrinking. I didn't make much money from it, thinking it was a bit cheap, but the "shrinkage" didn't detract from its usefulness. At the end of June 2018 I was ironing the duvet again and noticed that most of the duvet had melted…

No more wrestling with the giant ironing board

It will be a while before I have my own sewing and quilting room. I'm using my kitchen table at the moment and when I need to iron the seams on quilted pieces I have to get my big ironing board out of the closet and arrange it and then put it away when I'm done. . With this ironing blanket, that is no longer part of my everyday life. I just unfold the blanket and place it on the edge of the kitchen table and I'm good to go. I love the convenience and it works just as well as an ironing board…
