This rating is for hanging shelves, not shoe racks or zip closets. They are very useful and I fill them completely with rolled tips. I'm pretty sure you can stuff it with jeans and it will hold the weight with no problem. The description says natural canvas but in fact the shelves are plastic. The outer parts of the product are canvas. The hooks at the top are very strong and I'm not really attached to the bar. I hung it on the edge of a wooden shelf and it's holding up great.

Very poor structure and quality Only one thing is sewn straight! Materials used are coarse (read: cheap) linen, like z can be found on the liner of a laundry basket Plastic shelves are thin and very flexible (read also: cheap) The only structural support for them is a thin metal rod (also flexible) along the front seam I give this thing a few months of use before testing it yields to the weight of an item that you could store here.

I ordered 2 longer 54" garment bags for my outer coats. When I opened the package, I saw a picture of a fabric closet with shelves. Ah, I say to myself. When I took the item out of the box, it was actually a 42" garment bag, not a 54" garment bag. Both items were mislabeled and mispackaged. The product is well made and of good quality. I usually buy them in batches of 30 to be honest and this material is very easy to work with. We use it in our warehouse to help with orders, initially it was too many pockets and it's a bit long. That's why we decided to add our own flavor. We are more than satisfied with this product. I would say the only thing I don't like is that they cost almost 19.95 when I first bought them. I bought this because I saw the hard plastic base used for each compartment. This was very important to me as with the previous hanging shelf I only used cardboard sticks on the front edge of each shelf to keep each row flat. It ended up with most of the bars breaking and then my stuff sliding out. So for the purpose I bought this new one for, it worked fine.
